Define a new objective

An objective describes what you want to source and under which constraints. You do not need to keep it short or structured.
You can write everything you know in plain language, upload a datasheet, or paste a URL. Procureezy will take care of structuring the information for you.

What you can include in an objective
- the item you are looking for
- technical requirements
- commercial or delivery constraints
- strict non-negotiable constraints

You can drop all of this at once. No formatting is required.

Step 1: Enter your objective

Start by describing your sourcing need in the input field.

You can:
-describe the item in your own words
-upload a datasheet
-copy and paste a product or catalog URL

Procureezy does not expect perfect inputs. The goal is to capture context.

Step 2: Objective structuring to Web Search

Once your objective is entered, Procureezy structures it into four categories:

Item being sourced - What the component is.
Example: “Actuator for CubeSat 3U”

Technical requirements - Mission context, performance, environment, standards.
Example: “Low Earth orbit mission, one-year duration”

Commercial and delivery constraints - Availability, region, lead time, procurement constraints.
Example: “Commercial availability, reasonable lead time”

Strict technical constraints - Non-negotiable conditions that must be respected.

Step 3: Launch research and discover items

Click Launch research to start item discovery.

Procureezy uses the structured objective to:
-search across relevant manufacturers, catalogs, and sources
-extract product-level information
-build a structured dataset aligned with your constraints

You do not need to manually browse websites or rebuild spreadsheets.

Comparing actuator options

Because all results are structured, you can compare actuator candidates consistently.

This allows you to:
evaluate suitability for your mission context
compare technical characteristics side by side
quickly eliminate non-relevant options
focus only on candidates that meet your strict constraints

The comparison keeps the original objective context, not just raw specs.

Step 4: Go deeper and contact manufacturers

Click See more on any item to:
review extracted specifications in detail
verify information using the original source
understand how the item matches your objective

Once you have shortlisted candidates, you can contact manufacturers directly through the app to:
request pricing or lead times
ask technical follow-up questions
move the sourcing process forward without leaving Procureezy

Step 5: Reuse or manage your objective

In the Setup tab, you can:
duplicate an objective to reuse it for a similar sourcing task
delete objectives that are no longer relevant

This makes it easy to iterate without starting from scratch.
